Description/Mission statement:
The Asian Language Legal Intake Project (ALLIP) provides hotlines in four Asian languages – Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), Khmer, Korean and Vietnamese. Because language and cultural barriers pose significant difficulties to immigrants seeking legal information or assistance, ALLIP plays an important role by assisting callers on a wide range of legal issues, including immigration, public benefits and consumer rights.
