My name is Angela Marie Subido and I am a 4th yr Asian American Studies Major and Applied Psychology Minor. Through my experiences in the Asian American Studies major, I have cultivated a strong passion for my community, culture, and identity as a Filipino-American.
Throughout my time here at UCSB I have been involved in Kapatirang Pilipino (KP) and UCSB's largest student-run cultural production Pilipino Cultural Night (PCN). I have also interned at the Campus, Advocacy, Resources, and Education (CARE) Office located in the Women's Center, had previous work experience as a Resident Assistant (RA) in UCSB Housing, and was a former Community Organizer in the Office of the Student Advocate of Associated Students. Aside from being a Peer Advisor, I am currently a Research Assistant for the Koegel Autism Center, and work with the UCSB Disabled Students Program.
