Event Location:

For many students, the relationship between your major and your career path isn't straightforward. This issue can be of particular concern to students in the Humanities and the Social Sciences. We invite students who have these questions about the Asian American Studies major to attend our workshop and hear testimonials from some of our very own Alumni!

From April 19 - 25, 2021, UCSB will be hosting a virtual All Gauchos Reunion, in which Alumni from across the globe will be participating in exciting and informative events organized by UCSB's Alumni Department. We are pleased to announce that many of our own Alumni who are participating in this event have agreed to also attend our workshop 'What Can I Do with This Major?' and make themselves available answer questions about their career paths after UCSB. This workshop will be of particular interest to those students wishing to learn more about careers in the fields of education, development, and social work!

This workshop will take place on Tuesday, April 20, at 5:00 pm PST. If you are interested in attending, please email our Undergraduate Advisor Cora Danielson at cora@ucsb.edu and she will email you the Zoom link via Google calendar.

Also, check out a talk being hosted by own Professors Lisa Sun-Hee Park and Sameer Pandya as part of All Gauchos Reunion week: What We Talk About When We Talk About Anti-Asian Violence.
